Abilities

- During Awakening, 100 AP is required to use the attack instead of 1000 Power.

[Awaken] - A (100 AP)
AP Skill:
- 50 AP will be consumed
- 200 Power will be recovered (No power gain if you have 3 SP)
Spirit Point Recovery:
- Gain 1 SP upon use

Taiga has access to a unique form of Awakening which grants her the ability to utilize Awakening Points (AP) and Spirit Points (SP) to enhance her capabilities in battle. Awakening also has the added benefit of increasing the damage of all your attacks by 15%.

Awakening is accessed through the use of AP and can only be activated with you have sufficient AP. Once enough AP has been gained, you can press "A" to activate Awakening mode which will immediately consume 50 AP upon activation (the initial burst can hit opponents for small damage, but with large hit stun). There is no time limit on the mode and Taiga can stay in Awakening indefinitely as long as she has AP in her awakening gauge. With the exception of EX Drives and the EXE Finisher, all attacks that land on the opponent will drain AP and once it drops to 0, you will automatically revert back to your normal state. To exit out of Awakening manually, simply press the "A" button again, however there is a 3 second cooldown whenever you enter the mode meaning you will have to wait till the cooldown passes before you can enter Awakening again. Exiting Awakening through this way will also leave you wide open, so pick your moment carefully.

Outside of Awakening AP can be charged by inflicting damage with normal and special attacks as well as recieving damage. You can only charge AP by taking damage while Awakening is active.

Every time you enter Awakening you will gain 1 SP which is represented by the segmented meter above the AP gauge. Taiga can stock up to a maximum of 3 SP at any give time. You will also be able gain bonus power every time you enter Awakening mode, however you will stop recieving the bonus power if you have a full SP meter (3 SP). SP can only be spent while in Awakening and is used to enhance a Special, EX Drive, or EXE Finisher even further. The effects on attacks and the cost of SP varies between moves.

[Overlimit] - Passive Ability

Taiga has a unique trait which grants her the ability to use her AP as a means to use her EX Drives and EXE Finishers in battle instead of Power.

With Overlimit her AP gauge essentially becomes a second power bar, acting as the main resource for EX Drives and EXE Finishers while in Awakening. The drawback is that the cost to perform said moves will be increased when using AP. For example if an EX Drive that would normally cost 1000 power outside of Awakening will now cost 150 AP to use while Awakening is active and EXE Finishers that costs 3000 power will now cost to 350 AP while in Awakening. Despite the hefty increase in cost, having access to 2 resources to access EX Drives and EXE Finishers is incredibly versatile.

Overlimit also has a secondary effect of replinishing the other resource that wasn't used. For example, Demonic Chaos will cost 1000 Power to perform outside of Awakening, but will have the added benefit of slightly recovering her AP. While in Awakening Demonic Chaos changes to cost 150 AP to perform, but will recover her Power meter instead. Use this to your advantage to always have meter in any situation!

Spirit Point Usage:
- During Awakening, 1 SP will be consumed
- Damage is increased by 10%, attack will launch the opponent higher, and opponent won't be able to air recover
- Attack can still be used without SP 

[Ryuji] - D,D,a (When assist gauge is full)(SP)
Spirit Point Usage:
- During Awakening, 1 SP will be consumed
- Ryuji will attack as soon as he is summoned
- Attack can still be used without SP

EX Drive Attacks

[Demonic Chaos] - D,F,aa (1000 Power)(SP)
- During Awakening, the attack will be changed to one large strike
- Any attack button can be held down to charge [Demonic Chaos] while in Awakening
- The attack will launch automatically when fully charged
- Fully charged, damage and range is significantly increased, and will cause a wall slam
Overlimit Skill:
- In Awakening, 150 AP will be consumed and 300 Power will be recovered
- Outside of Awakening, 1000 Power will be consumed and 30 AP will be recovered
Spirit Point Usage:
- During Awakening, 1 SP will be consumed
- Charge time is reduced by 33%
- Attack can still be used without SP 

[Tiger Raid] - F,D,DF,aa (1000 Power)(SP)
Overlimit Skill:
- In Awakening, 150 AP will be consumed and 300 Power will be recovered
- Outside of Awakening, 1000 Power will be consumed and 30 AP will be recovered 
Spirit Point Usage:
- During Awakening, 1 SP can be used to cancel any hit to any other Special or EX Drive Attack (except [Tiger Raid]), while 2 SP can be used to cancel any hit to an EXE Finisher (except [Curbstomp Symphony]).
- Any hit from [Tiger Raid] needs to connect (hit or blocked) in order to cancel
- Attack can still be used without SP

[Sled Crasher] - D,B,aa (1000 Power)(Air OK)
Overlimit Skill:
- In Awakening, 150 AP will be consumed and 300 Power will be recovered
- Outside of Awakening, 1000 Power will be consumed and 30 AP will be recovered 

[Eye of the Tiger] - aaa (AWK)(3 SP)
Spirit Point Usage:
- Requires a full SP meter (3 SP) 
- During Awakening 3 SP will be consumed
- Cast a buff on yourself that grants several benefits: 
   - Increases AP gain by 25% (does not affect Ryuji) 
   - Reduces AP consumption while in Awakening by 25% (does not affect Ryuji)
   - All EX Drives performed while in Awakening will have their costs decreased to 100 AP
   - All EX Drives performed outside of Awakening will have their AP gain increased to 45
- Does not affect AP gained or consumed from using EXE Finishers 
- Cannot gain any SP while the buff is active
AP Recovery:
- Recover 100 AP upon use
- AP recovered will decrease upon every subsequent use

EXE Finisher
============

Overlimit Skill:
- In Awakening, 350 AP will be consumed and 600 Power will be recovered
- Outside of Awakening, 3000 Power will be consumed and 60 AP will be recovered
Spirit Point Usage:
- During Awakening, a maximum of 3 SP will be consumed
- Damage is increased by 10% for each SP used
- Attack can still be used without SP 

[T&D Connection] - D,B,D,B,a (3000 Power)
AP Skill Recovery:
- 75 AP will be recovered upon use
- AP is not recovered while in Awakening
